Do I have to build right away?

Hills On Halstead was created to be a single family residential development.  It is not required for you to build immediately after purchasing property. However, a plan for building will need to be communicated. Please contact us for information concerning further restrictions.

What are the housing requirements?

The minimum squire footage requirements for residences is 1,400 square feet.  In calculating the foregoing minimum square footage requirements, basements, porches, decks and garages shall not be considered.  The residence will need to be all the other requirements set forth in the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions of The Hills On Halstead.  Please contact us for information concerning further restrictions.

Are there HOA fees?

We do not have a Homeowners Association.

What about utilities?

Westar Energy is our electric provider.  All electric service will be brought to the residence or any improvement on the lot underground.  Each lot shall be served by one ore more water wells and a septic system for waste water disposal to be installed in accordance with approved plans.

Can we have horses?

Yes, you may have a reasonable number of riding horses as well as commonly accepted household pets as specified in the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions of The Hills On Halstead. Please contact us directly for information concerning further restrictions.

Is there high speed internet?

AT&T currently has phone lines in the area, and does provide high speed internet currently to some lots in The Hills On Halstead and the possibility of providing more service.  You may call AT&T for more information about their internet service in the area.
